Happy Halloween!

We had a great day today celebrating Connor's first Halloween. Our "little bear" was the cutest thing you have ever seen! There are tons of pictures in this post (for several of you who requested) and it was just too hard to choose!

We first put his costume on while Uncle Kevin and Aunt Rachel came to visit. Look at that cute grin!

After we took TONS of pictures at home we headed up to church for the Fall Fest. I LOVE this face!

After church we headed to our neighborhood park for another Halloween party. They even had a costume contest that Connor took part in. Here is a picture of Connor on the stage showing off. (I love the paci with the costume. My little baby bear!)

And the winner is... CONNOR! YAY!! He won a $50 gift card to Babies R US for looking so cute!

By the time we got to our drive way Connor was already fast asleep.

While he took his last bottle of the day, Minnie Mouse came for a visit. How darling is she?

Finally, everyone got their pajamas on and were ready for bed.

Cole and I are so thankful to share this fun times together with Connor. We love making new memories together as a family. We are so blessed and thank God for such a sweet baby boy.

One more thing... Here is a cute short video that I took of him with his costume. Sorry it is sideways, but I couldn't figure out how to turn it around. :)

From One to Two

This past weekend our close friends the Kelley's went out of town and we got to keep their adorable daughter Caroline. It was quite an experience to go from one kid to two, but we had a great time! She is at such a fun age and she loved to help with Connor. After 5 days we are back home and getting back into our routine. Here are a few pictures from our weekend:

Pumpkin Patch

On Thursday morning my mom and I took Connor to the pumpkin patch at a church near our house. I am planning on going to a bigger pumpkin patch when Cole is off work to take some more family pictures. So these are the first of many to come! :) Here are a few of my favorites:

A Visit from Lee

We had such a fun time last night when "Uncle" Lee came to visit us. Lee and Sally have been such great friends and we are so glad that we live just close enough to be able to get together. Connor loved hanging out with Lee! Here are a few cute pictures.

We had such a great weekend and were so glad to spend some time together as a family. Connor definitely loves being with his Daddy! Here are a few pictures from this week and a video from tonight.

I was in our bedroom talking to my mom tonight when I heard Connor just laughing as loud as he could. I quickly came in to see what was going on and I caught the end of it with my camera. It is so cute to see how much he loves his Daddy.


*One more update: For those of you keeping up with all of Connor's latest achievements.. tonight while we were playing he rolled all the way from his back to his stomach!

Rainy Day Fun

Today has been such a fun day so I thought I would take some videos to share what we have been doing. We are so thankful to finally get some rain here in Austin and I decided that this was the perfect day to stay in and play all day. Here is a little glimpse into how Connor and I spend most of our days at home.

The first video is of Connor playing in his exersaucer. You can see that there are TONS of things to look out, but Connor has decided that the butterfly is his favorite and spends all his time playing with it. I think he could just stare at the butterfly for hours if I let him! :)

This is my favorite video! Connor has been laughing a little here and there, but today was the first day that he just couldn't stop laughing. I tried to get some of it on video, but of course the camera distracts him. (Sorry the video is not the best, but I had to record with one hand so I could tickle him.) He loves to be tickled!

The last video is of Connor playing on his activity mat. I think in this video he was actually looking more at the fan then the toys. He LOVES the fan! Squealing is his new way to show how exciting things are. Connor is such a happy baby! :)

Off the Charts!

Connor went to the doctor on Tuesday to get his second round of shots. He did not like it one bit! He screamed so loud that his whole head turned red! :( But luckily it is all over and he is starting to feel better each day. They did all of his four month measurements and then announced that he was "off the charts" on everything! Since his 2 month appointment he has grown 3 inches and is now 26 1/2 inches long! He has also put on some weight, as you can tell by his latest photos, and now weighs 19lbs and 5 oz. (The doctor said he was very proportionate though.) :) Just thought I would give you a quick update on how it went. More pictures will be coming soon.

Happy 4 Months Connor!

I am 4 months old!

We have had another fun month with Connor and love to see how much he changes and grows each day. Here are a few things he has been up to:

-Such a happy baby and still smiling at everyone and everything.

-Rolling over

-Making many new sounds

-Sleeping about 12 hours every night!

-Taking 8 oz bottles now

-Loves to be in his exersaucer and figuring out how it all works

-Sitting in his Bumbo seat

-Putting EVERYTHING in his mouth!

-His eyes are getting darker, but we can't tell yet whether they will be hazel or brown.

We go to the doctor next week for his 4 month shots. We will let you know how that goes. :)

Little Pumpkin!

My favorite season of the year is finally here. I LOVE fall! This morning I tried on Connor's "little pumpkin" shirt we got him for Halloween and decided to take some pictures. I think you can tell by the look on his face that he loves fall just as much as his mommy. :)

Looking for a tooth! I can't believe this is already happening, but I think Connor is starting to teeth. He has been out of control drooling and gnawing on anything he can get in his mouth.
