Halloween 2012

Our Halloween started of with a Pumpkin Patch Party at Connor's preschool.  They had the cutest costume parade for all of the kids.  Then they had a gym full of fun games for them to play.  We are so thankful for Connor's school and all the teachers who work so hard!

That night we had Poppa, Nana, and Grandmommy over to Mimi's house for hot dogs.  After dinner we headed out to a few nearby houses to trick or treat.  Carson had so much fun yelling "trick or treat!"  Then we came home and let them answer the door for other kids which was almost more fun to them then going.

This year Cole and I even dressed up.  Some friends hosted a Halloween party and we attended as Coach Taylor and Tami Taylor from Friday Night Lights. It was definitely an easy costume for us even though Connor was not impressed one bit by what we were wearing.  Maybe next year we will dress up as something "cool."

Momma Lou

Momma Lou and Ed came down to celebrate Carson's birthday with us, but then we had the special treat of getting to keep Momma Lou with us all week!  The boys were in heaven!  They love getting to spend time with all their grandparents.

 We had a fun week with her here.  She was such a big help during all of our celebrations too.  Thanks for coming to stay with us Momma Lou.  We love you!

Carson's Birthday

Even though we had already had Carson's party we still wanted to make his actual birthday a special day for him.  We started off with some birthday muffins complete with candles.  

During the day we headed to the Domain with Mimi and Momma Lou to ride the Hound Dog Express.  The boys had the best time!

That night we had all the family over for dinner and a little Elmo cookie cake.

Such a wonderful day celebrating another year of Carson and the sweet blessing that his is to our family.

Owen and Carson

Carson and Owen were quite the pair.  I love that the boys have cousins close in age to grow up with.  Carson is especially fond of Owen.  He wants to be right by him at all times whether that is playing with him or giving him an abundance of hugs and kisses.  One morning while they were here we headed to the pumpkin patch.  Carson wasn't in the mood for many pictures, but he did have a great time running around trying to pick up all the pumpkins.  I love these two boys so much! :)
