Christmas 2014

We were all up bright and early Christmas morning.
Santa knew just what these two Wild Kratt fans wanted!
We had a few special treats for breakfast and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.
After breakfast the boys opened their gift from Cole and I.  We got Connor an Ipad mini and Carson got a Kindle Fire.  I think you can tell by the smiles that they were thrilled!
During his morning nap, Clay posed for a few pictures for us. :)  Love this sweet Christmas baby!
Merry Christmas!

Christma Eve at Mimi's

After an afternoon of settling in at home with Clay we headed down the street to Mimi's house for some chili.  We love being so close!

The boys had a great time seeing everyone.
We were sad that this year sickness kept us from seeing Kevin, Rachel, Owen, and Emma, but we knew it was best to keep Clay (and the rest of us) away from germs.  Not quite the Christmas plans we had hoped for, but we made the best of a not so great situation.
Since we didn't know how long everyone would be sick the boys went ahead and opened their presents from Momma Lou and Papaw in case we didn't get to see them again.
The boys were thrilled to play with their new toys.
After we enjoyed a delicious dinner we headed home to get ready for Santa.

6 Years and Counting

This year we took our 6th annual family trip to Johnson City to see the Christmas lights.
This was Connor's first trip in 2009.
Then Carson joined us in 2010.

Next year I'm sure Clay will be making the trek out with us!
We enjoyed being able to go this year with Amy, David, Kate, Hannah, Natalie, Nana, Poppa, and Mimi.  The kids spent lots of time running around under all the lights.

We headed down to the town square after seeing the PEC lights.  It was SO crowded the night we went, but the boys still had fun.
Year after year this puppy dog train remains the boys favorite display!

Santa made an appearance right before we headed home.
Love starting the Christmas season with this fun tradition!

North Pole Breakfast 2014

With Thanksgiving over, the boys knew it was only a matter of time before they woke up to find our elf back at our house.  Max (or Chippy as Carson likes to call him) showed up the next morning and brought his famous North Pole snowballs and chocolate milk for us to enjoy.  I'm pretty sure the boys were on a sugar rush for the rest of the day! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our thankful turkey...
My boys love traditions.  I'm not sure if I will ever be able to serve them anything else on Thanksgiving morning. :)

We headed to the Cunningham's house for lunch. The boys loved seeing their cousins!
Post lunch football game was the perfect way to spend the afternoon.
