Preschool... Here We Come!

 The years have flown by and it is time for this little guy to start his first year of preschool.  We love this sweet school and are so excited it worked out for him to attend.  Although he doesn't officially start until Tuesday, we went up there today to snap a few pictures to document this exciting time.  I love how they turned out!

 

Back to School

Summer has come and gone and around here we are getting ready for that first school bell to ring.  Somehow I blinked and my "baby" is in First Grade!  He is thrilled about being back on campus, his new teacher, seeing his friends, and everything else that comes with school.  (Well, maybe not the homework.) :)  As in the past, we headed up a few days early to snap some photos.  Let me just say that not having to dodge the hundreds of people who show up on the first day on what is already a busy morning has been a life saver.  I get those sweet smiles and he actually looks at the camera instead of which friend might be walking up the sidewalk. :)

 Playing horse shoes is definitely one of Connor's favorite things to do at Lost Pines.

The lunch was great, but the desserts were even better! :)

We spent the rest of the afternoon playing games and walking around the nature trails.

It was hard to leave, but I have a feeling we will be back before too long!
