Play Time

For the past couple of days Connor has loved play time! He loves to be on his tummy and try to lift his head up. He also loves to just kick and stretch. Today he found a new favorite toy. I gave him this phone rattle that he loves to shake all around and follow with his eyes. He only had a few bonks in the head, but was having so much fun he didn't seem to care. It is amazing how fast he is growing up. I can't believe he will be one month old this week!

California Love

Uncle Kevin and Aunt Rachel flew in all the way from LA to see their new nephew. Everyone was so glad that they were able to come. They brought Connor some new books, one of which is my new favorite children's series. It was called Goodnight California and had all the sights and places important to that state in the book. The website for the series is http://www.goodnightourworld.com/. I can't wait to get some of the other books!

Connor also made his first debut at a restuarant while his aunt and uncle were in town. We went to Maudi's one night and Connor slept through the whole thing. I think the noise was so loud that it just put him to sleep.

We were so happy to have Kevin and Rachel here! It was easy to get use to having them around so hopefully they will be back soon (or back for good.) :)
I was so glad that Rachel brought her camera with her. She has such an amazing talent that I wish I had. Here are a few of my favorites from some of Connor's photo shoots.

Four Generations

We had a busy weekend full of visits from some very special people. We love our grandparents so much and are happy that Connor is blessed with such wonderful great-grandparents.

My grandmother "Momma Lou" came for a week to see all of us, but mainly Connor. :) It was nice to have her here and to be able to share this special time with her. We made sure to get a picture of the four generations! Ed and Momma Lou loved to hold this sweet little boy.

My grandparents, Papa and Ginny, also were able to come for a visit. Papa had already surprised us at the hospital, but we were so happy that he was able to come back and bring Ginny. Connor loved for his Papa to hold him, especially when it was time for his bottle!

Cole's grandfather "PawPaw" also came down this past weekend. We all went to eat and had a great time at Pok-e-Jo's (one of Cole's favorite, and probably a future favortie of Connor). We were so happy to see him, but sad that we weren't able to see "Nannie", Cole's grandmother who wasn't able to come. Hopefully we will be up to Dallas soon to see her!

Cole's Uncle Bill and Aunt Debra also made the trip down to Austin. We were so glad to see them and happy they were able to meet Connor.

Connor also has some very special great-grandparents that live here in Austin. Cole's "Pop" and Saundra came over one day to visit and see Connor.

It was fun to have Cole's "Grandmommy" come over for a visit as well. She was so happy to see him.

Thank You!

We wanted to thank everyone for all of the help and support these past few weeks. Especially all of the friends and family who brought us dinner. We definitely did not go hungry! Thank you to Fran and our sunday school for setting that up! It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about and just be able to enjoy our time as a new family. It was also wonderful to see everyone and let them meet Connor. Thank you again for everything!!! We really appreciate it.

Connor loved seeing his new cousins Ryley and Reagan. He also enjoyed seeing all the special people that brought his mom and dad dinner!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Cole!
Connor had so much fun with his dad on Father's Day. He is so lucky and blessed to have such an amazing dad. Cole is the GREATEST dad in the entire world! Even after only two weeks it is so easy to tell how much Connor loves to snuggle up with his dad or just listen to his voice. It has been so much fun watching them together.

For Father's Day Connor got Cole some new framed pictures to put in his office. He knew that it was exactly what his daddy wanted. :)
Cole was finally able to sleep in and we made him breakfast.
Connor was very excited to wear his new "COOL just like Daddy" t-shirt.
Cole has been such a big help during the past few weeks and it was so much fun to celebrate all that he does on this special day!
