Easter Happenings

We had a fun filled week celebrating Easter.  Here is a quick recap from our week.

Our grass project worked!  It grew so tall that it almost needed a little trim by Easter. :)
We dyed some eggs.  Not sure if this was the most appropriate activity for 2 year olds, but we had fun doing it.  I think I did most of the dying after we splattered blue all over the place.  I though my mom's counter tops would never be the same.  Thankfully with a little help from a magic eraser it came up!
Connor thought he needed to wear Mimi's glasses while he worked. :)
We also made some strawberry cupcakes and decorated with sprinkles.
Connor really got into egg hunting this year.  He might not have gone about it in the "typical" way, but he really enjoyed it.
He slowly walked around and picked one up at a time.  Examined it, opened it, and then reported what surprise he found inside.  I have a feeling when Carson is old enough to join in it will be more of a race.
The boys found a few Easter surprises at Mimi's as well.
Carson was more interested in chewing on the basket at first.
Then he realized that chewing on his new rabbit was just as fun!
On Friday, Connor and his BFF's had an egg hunt and decorated sugar cookies.
They had fun, but the egg hunt held their interest for about 5 minutes.  Connor's new pinwheels and the swing set looked like a lot more fun.
Jamie brought over all the supplies for the kids to decorate Easter cookies.
Sugar cookies, icing, and sprinkles are about the only thing that will keep these 3 two year olds this still. :)
Connor and Carson also received some other fun surprises this week.
Papa and Ginny mailed them these sweet books that has a recording of Papa reading the story.  They love being able to listen to Papa read anytime they want.
Poppa and Nana also got them a new basketball goal along with some other fun things.
On Saturday, we gave the boys their baskets from us.
Carson looks like such a big boy in this picture!
More pictures from Easter morning coming soon!
