Every year after Thanksgiving our elf, Max, brings us breakfast from the North Pole. After doing this for several years now, the boys love anticipating when Max will show up. Max received lots of love from Carson this year who carried him around almost every day. He affectionately nicknamed him "Maxie."
In addition to bringing yummy "snow balls" for breakfast, Max also leaves a note for the boys. This year he encouraged the boys to find ways to make this season special for those around them.
They were thrilled to read the note!
Our final surprise for the morning was seeing our Christmas tree up and ready to decorate. Max left out the kids nativity and a book about the true meaning of Christmas. The boys spent the rest of morning reading and playing. This might be one of my favorite pictures this year from Christmas. A sweet memory I will never forget.
