Early Monday morning we headed to the hospital to check in at 5:30 for my induction. It was a busy morning at the hospital so we waited for a few hours before they started the pitocin. Around 1:00 my doctor came by to check on me and said she thought Clay would be here around 3:30. However, things progressed quickly and at 2:05 pm our sweet baby boy was here.
The most amazing feeling getting to hold your baby for the first time.
Clay weighed 8 pounds and 14 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. We were all surprised by how big he was!
My mom was so sweet to watch the boys for us while we were in the hospital. As soon as we knew it was getting close we told them to head our way. I loved getting to introduce them to their brother for the first time. Huge grins and excitement filled their faces. Such a sweet memory!
They couldn't wait for a turn to hold him.
