My baby is growing up by the minute! I can't believe how much he has changed this past month. He is now using a lot more words and has even started using a fork and spoon to feed himself! He still uses his fingers for foods that are hard to pick up or when he is in a hurry.
Connor showing us how he can use his fork.
Amazingly he hasn't even made a very big mess (yet)! Anytime he gets food on his face or lip we have to stop and clean it up before he will take another bite. :) Here is a short video of him using his spoon to eat his applesauce.

We have also decided that it was time to take Connor's pacifier away. For the past several months he has only used it for bed time and naps, but I knew that the earlier I did it the easier it would be. He has grown to LOVE his paci and would even want to go take a nap just to have it! We are on day 1 and have cried lots of tears. He slept about 25 minutes for his morning nap (usually he sleeps 2 hrs) and has been asleep for about 40 minutes so far this afternoon. After his morning nap he started searching through his diaper bag, the crib, and looking in all his drawers trying to find one. So sad! It just breaks my heart to hear him cry, but I know that this day has to come eventually and we are just trying to get through it. Everything I have read said it usually takes kids about 3 days to get over it so that is what we are hoping for. I will let you know how the rest of our week goes! :) Pray for us, this might be a long week!

We really need to hang out with Connor (and y'all) soon! I miss this little man! :)
I hate that we don't live close.
I can't believe how grown up Connor is! I love to hear him talk and laugh. What a sweet, big boy. (Kind of sad to leave the paci stage behind, but the next one is just as fun!) We love you, Connor.
I will pray with you Nee Nee! I never had to do that with Caroline b/c she did not take a paci. Madelyn on the other hand is ALL ABOUT THE PACI! Take good notes so you can share them with me when the time comes.
Love you guys,
Fran
