What goes up must come down....

That is the lesson we are learning at our house right now.  It is funny how everyone always wants to know and talk about if your baby is pulling up yet, but no one ever says anything about how they are suppose to get back down!  I got behind on my updates this past week because I have instead been researching how to teach Connor to sit down.  I know that may sound silly, but if you are at my house at 3:00 in the morning you would understand. :) What I found is that apparently it is very scary for some babies to just let go and "fall" down.  Which I never thought of, but completely understand now.

Connor has decided that every time he wakes up he wants to practice his new talent of pulling up, but doesn't think about how he is going to get down.  :)  That is where I come in!  A combination of this new milestone, teething, a case of separation anxiety, and a runny nose leaves us with a day of no naps and one tired mommy!  Thanks to my mom though for coming and playing with Connor this afternoon so I could rest and get a few things done.  I am very spoiled!

*** Update (3/27)  Good News... I spoke too soon and Connor can now sit down all by himself!   I think it was more separation anxiety than him being afraid. :)

Catching up....

A Visit from the Armstrongs

This past Saturday we had a wonderful time with our good friends, Lee and Sally.  They are such a sweet couple and always so much fun to be around.  They are expecting their first baby in June and were in Austin picking up her new furniture.  We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet sweet baby Jenna!

Connor had a lot of fun with these two!  They are going to be great parents!
The boys and their hats :)
One of the rare pictures of all 3 of us!

Connor and his new swing!

Connor LOVES to swing!  Every time we take him to the park he smiles and giggles the whole time he is in it.  I think he would stay on one all day if it were his choice.  Well, this lucky little boy now has his very own!  Mimi bought him a swing and this past Sunday Cole hung it up.  Our trees are still to small for a swing so we found the perfect branch in Mimi's back yard.

My two sweet boys!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
