On Saturday, my sweet friends Meagan and Jenni had me over for lunch to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Carson. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and finished it off with mini chocolate pies for dessert! Yum! It was so nice to be able to visit with them and catch up before my life gets just a little bit busier! :)
After that we headed over to my mom's house for an early birthday celebration. Eating at home is always easier with a 2 year old so we ordered fajitas from Chuy's which is one of my favorite places to go.
Connor loved his fajita...
but did not even make it all the way through dinner without falling asleep. I have never seen him do this! He was exhausted. Deciding that he is too big to take naps is finally catching up with him.
After a quick little rest he was up and ready for some cookie cake.
"Stop Momma! No more pictures."
We finished the evening by opening some fun presents.
On my actual birthday we met mom for lunch at Panera Bread then went over to her house where she had another little surprise for me.
Connor was very excited that Mimi had "muffins." (cupcakes)
After Cole got off work, just the 2 of us went out for dinner at Johnny Carino's. One of my other favorite places! Even though Cole had a sinus and ear infection he was such a good sport and we still had a great night out.
