4th of July

Our family had a wonderful 4th of July!  We started out the day heading to church where we had a special patriotic service.  Here are a few pictures that Cole took of Connor before we left.  I love his face in this first one.  It looks like he is shocked that Cole is taking his picture and not me! :)
"Choo Choo!"
After lunch and a long nap for Connor we headed out to Dripping Springs to Nana and Poppa's house.  We decided to celebrate Cole's birthday a few days early with a delicious dinner, cake, presents and fireworks!  Kate, Grandmommy, and Mimi were also there to celebrate with us.
Happy Birthday, Cole!
The kids had lots of fun playing!
Connor seemed to enjoy the sparklers, but quickly decided he didn't like the fireworks once we started the loud ones.  He spent most of the night burying his head into Mimi's shoulder.  Nana said Cole did the exact same thing when he was Connor's age. :)
I hope you and your family had a wonderful 4th of July as well!
