Storytime

This past Wednesday we meet a few friends at the public library for Storytime.  They have a scheduled time specifically for 18 months- 3 year olds which was perfect for Connor.  They sang so many fun songs with lots of motions and listened to a few books read by the teacher.  I was surprised to see how much Connor enjoyed following along with the songs/hand motions.  It was so cute seeing all the little ones trying to participate.  His favorite part was when he realized all the books she was reading were about cars and trains!  He even had asked me on the way there if there was going to be a "Toma" (Thomas) book.  Connor's cousin Kate is spending the week with Nana and Poppa so they meet us up there as well.  You will have to forgive me for the horrible pictures... there were so many moms and kids there it was impossible to move around.
Not quite sure which song he was doing hand motions for here. :)

After Storytime we stopped by Mimi's to check out the new horse that Connor's cousin Lily passed down to him.  It took him a minute to warm up to it, but I think it is going to be a hit!
