I am so happy with how Connor's room turned out. My mom was a huge help in getting all of it together so thank you very much Mom! I couldn't have done it without you! We had so much fun working on it and Connor absolutely loves it!
I got his bedding from Pottery Barn Kids. My goal was to get something that would grow with him. I wanted the bedding to last and then be able to change the decor as he got older. As you can tell we designed this room completely around Connor. He loves anything with wheels on it, but especially trains. You might have seen from yesterdays pictures, but we also found these cute sheets at PBK. His adorable step stool was a birthday present from Uncle Kevin and Aunt Rachel that works perfectly in the room.
I moved his chair in from the playroom and we added a book shelf to store a few of his books.
I used our dresser that was already in the guest room and added a few things from Connor's nursery. I am still looking for a frame for his wagon picture, but other than that the room is complete. One of my favorite new addition is his lamp. For his windows, I bought solid navy panels at Target and then added another 18 inches of navy gingham fabric. I love how it adds height and gives a more personal look.
Connor rarely asked for me to take his picture, but while I was taking all of these he kept saying "take picture Momma... cheese." So here is my little helper. :)
I found his letters and book shelf at Pottery Barn which were already the perfect navy color to match his bedding. The wall canvases on top are from Target and the ones on the bottom of the collage I actually made. We used the leftover fabric from the curtains and followed Martha Stewart's easy steps. They were so fun to make and added so much to the room!
One big boy room down.... one nursery to go! I leave you with a sneak peek of what you might find in Carson's nursery.

I'm so impressed with you adding fabric to the end of the curtains! they're so cute! I never would have thought to do that!
