Celebrating All Weekend

Fall Fest
Friday night we took Connor to the Bannockburn Christian Academy's fall festival.  We arrived towards the end so most of our time was spent visiting with friends.  One stop we made was the train ride.  Connor was excited when he saw the train, but the smiles soon turned to tears when he got on.  We had no idea why he didn't like it, but he definitely was not a fan.  When he got off I asked him about it and he told me "it so fun!"  Maybe they were tears of joy? :)
Emily's 2nd Birthday
We were so excited to celebrate with Emily at her Yo Gabba Gabba party.  Beth did an amazing job with all the decorations and party planning.  The kids had a blast playing with all of the toys outside.

Beth made shirts for all the kids.  Each one had a different Yo Gabba Gabba character on it.  They turned out so cute!
After the party we made it home just in time to watch the Baylor/UT game.  Carson must have brought the Bears good luck wearing his green and gold.
Halloween
Each year our neighborhood hosts a party with hot dogs, a costume contest, and hay ride.  Connor put on his train conductor costume and we headed outside to visit with friends.  Mimi, Nana, and Grandmommy were also able to join us for the fun.
We had a picnic in the front yard after the costume contest.
The Hoggs and Roberts came down and joined us.  Hudson looked so cute as a little longhorn. :)
Carson spent most of the night inside hanging out with all of his grandmothers.
Towards the end of the evening I realized that Connor never actually went "trick or treating."  I quickly explained to him what to do and had him go outside and ring the doorbell.  He loved it!  (Especially when I let him have a lollipop after.)
My sweet little pumpkin
It was a busy weekend filled with lots of fun.  I am so excited that November is here and have already started looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I love this time of year!
